A violation of any of these rules will result in expulsion from Accurate Driving's driver education 30-hour class. No refund will be issued for expelled students. Expelled students cannot attend any driver education class conducted by Accurate Driving anywhere else in the future.
A violation of any of the Additional Rules for Classroom Behavior will result in graduated penalties:
Classroom students drop off and pick up is curbside only. Do not use any driveways or parking areas of 1113 S. King Street, or any surrounding business parking lots. Violation of this rule will result in the student being suspended from that day's session. The student will then be required to make-up the session in a future class.
If you missed session(s), please do not just 'show up' to a session in another class. Make-up sessions must be pre-arranged and confirmed.
IMPORTANT: Requests to Make-Up any Session(s) must be received at a minimum of at least 7 Days prior to the requested make-up Date/Session; otherwise, you may have to wait for a future class.
To make up a missed session(s), go to the Class Schedules
page, find the missed session(s) number and date(s) of that class. EMAIL us at: lokino@hawaii.rr.com. Give us: your Name, CLASS# you are from, and the DATE and SESSION# you want to attend. An email confirmation will be sent that you are accepted into that class to make-up the session(s) missed.
If you lose a certificate you need to contact the instructor who issued it originally. There may be a fee for the replacement. Once a certificate is issued to you, keep it with other important documents such as birth certificate and social security card. The most common way certificates get lost is when they are held on to by the teen driver. The certificate will not be needed until the road test date.
Students need to have a current Hawaii Instruction Permit. Students will receive an email referral for the BTW lessons. Please be patient, it may take as long as 2 weeks after session 12 to receive your referral. Arrangements will be made with the BTW instructor regarding dates, times and locations for the lessons. The BTW lessons cannot be completed in less than 6 weeks and each lesson cannot be longer than 1.5 hours.
All our BTW instructors conduct BTW lessons starting in the Kahala area. You will need to meet the instructor at a predetermined location. We do not provide pick-up and drop-off service.

To qualify to take the road test, the teen:
Make arrangements with your BTW instructor. This is not included as part of your training. Expect to pay a fee. The fee is determined by the BTW instructor.
The BTW lessons must be started before the teen's 18th birthday. On their 18th birthday they have moved out of the Teen category for driver licensing into the Adult category. On their 18th birthday the BTW lessons expire, and no refund will be issued.
Adult Behind-The-Wheel lessons cost $60.00 per hour. We require a prepayment of $376.96. including GE Tax. This amount prepays for 6 (six) hours of lessons. The Average Adult requires about 1/2 hour of lessons per year of age to reach a basic ability level. At this level the student should be able to pass the Road Test. For example if the student is 20 years old, they would require 10 hours of lessons. A 40-year-old student would require 20 hours of lessons. These are just averages.
A service fee of $25 will be charged on any check not honored for any reason.
Refunds are only issued if the student dies or becomes disabled and cannot proceed with driver education.
Accurate Driving retains the right to refuse service.
